How long does it take for GeniteAS.Co.UK to process my application and set up my account?
Generally, if all of your billing information is in order, it should take between 1-12 hours to set up your account.
Who do I contact in case of a billing problem?

How do I cancel my account?
If you wish to cancel your GeniteAS.Co.UK account, please email billing @ geniteas.co.uk with the subject line: "Hosting Cancellation Request".
What control panel is offered with your hosting packages?
All accounts come equipped with DirectAdmin Control Panel Software.

How do I access my DirectAdmin website control panel?
Navigate to http://www.yoursite.com:2222 and replace "yoursite.com" with your domain name. You can also
take DirectAdmin for a test drive!
Can I select my own user account name?
Your main account user name is automatically generated and cannot be changed.
I have been notified that my account has been set up but my site is still not active.
If you have received a notification e-mail and it's been over 48 hours, it means either that you did not point your domain name to the right DNS servers, or that your ISP's DNS server has not yet been updated. It generally takes 24 hours for domain names to become active. This is just how the Internet works; there is no way we can speed up the process.
I have NOT been notified that my account has been set up and its been over 24 hours.
This could be caused by a provisioning error. If you have not received any e-mails from us with a few hours of ordering please contact us via e-mail.
What DNS should my domain name point to?
GeniteAS.Co.UK uses several sets of DNS servers. Please refer to your welcome e-mail for details. If your still unsure, please
contact our support team.
What servers do you run?
GeniteAS.Co.UK operates several servers throughout the world. Our latest series of servers use AMD64 3000+ Processor, 1024MB DDR400 Memory, 80GB/120GB S-ATA Hard Drive all using Linux

Does e-mail or FTP count against my bandwidth limit?
Yes. All FTP and incoming/outgoing e-mail traffic counts against your total bandwidth.
What happens if I exceed my allocated bandwidth?
You will receive an automatic e-mail message warning you that you have reached 80% of your contracted limit. This should give you plenty of time to contact GeniteAS.Co.UK and purchase more bandwidth. Once you have exceeded your limit, your account is suspended for the rest of the current month. You can add extra Bandwith to your package
here.
Do you support mySQL?
Yes. We run mySQL server version 4.0.12
How can I edit a mySQL database table without creating an application?
DirectAdmin allows you to use phpMyAdmin to edit mySQL tables through the use of SQL query language.
Do you support CGI/Perl scripts?
Yes, every site comes with its own CGI-BIN to allow you to run your own perl scripts.
What path name should I use for CGI/PERL scripts?
You may use either #!/usr/bin/perl -or- #!/usr/local/bin/perl
Both will work!
How do I access webmail for my server?
All sites are equipped with web based e-mail. This is all explained in your sign up letter.
How do I enable SSI in my HTML pages?
To take advantage of Server Side Includes(SSI) in your web page, make sure the web page has the extension .SHTML and not .HTML
Will you place any ads on my site?
Not at all. GeniteAS.Co.UK does not place any advertisement on your site whatsoever. No banners, no annoying pop-ups, nothing.
Will I be able to send and receive e-mail through GeniteAS.Co.UK?
Yes! You will be able to send and receive e-mail through our servers. In technical terms, we provide both POP3 and SMTP capabilities.
